Michael Petruccelli says; Unemployment is rampent amoung these young workers. Thirty-seven percent of 18- 29 year olds are currently unemployed or out of the work force. That is the highest share among this age group in more than 30 years. And they are not faring so well financially.

Michael Petruccelli says; In just 2 years, nearly half of the employees in the world will belong to the Gen-y outnumbering baby boomers and all the other groups of employees at work in 2014. Tecnologically savvy, these workers grew up with computers at home and school. They've spent the majority of their education working in groups, so the their friends and peers so they're adept at communicating and sharing information and ideas with their friends and peers.

Michael Petruccelli says; They are our youngest generation of employees - those typically born in 1980 or later. This demographic understand bills, and they understand debt. They don't have as many experiences of their own to draw from so they draw from their peer groups experiences and knowlage gained from them almost as their own. The importance of keeping it real is also a priority for most of them.

Michael Petruccelli says;  When there are children - Reduce clutter if possible. Children and babies come with a lot of gear. Try to limit what you have out to only what you absolutely need for that day. Try to organize the child/baby gear & toys to a minimum this will help reduce the clutter so the potential buyer can see the house unencumbered. This way they can visualize there belongings in the home. Instead of being overwhelmed by your personal items.

Michael Petruccelli says;  When there are children - Consider propping baby gates open so the walk through the home is easy and flows. Keep in mind when it comes to the home inspection, the inspector will need easy access to the entire home.

Michael Petruccelli says; Complete a few chores - Clear debris and vacuum under the refrigerator. Remove and clean all debris from the tub, shower & sink drains.
