acceptable for an event such as a hurricane. Try to have already prepared foods that can
be eaten without cooking (you may not have electricity for a few days) such as
canned chicken, tuna fish, and again, make sure the food is fresh.

Be careful, though; some hurricanes can go up to 80 km/h, especially near the Atlantic Provinces of Canada. Keep informed go to the National Hurricane Centers website for updated info on the storm threatening your area. Another good resource is the Weather Underground website.
